In each of us lie good and bad, light and dark, art and pain, choice and regret, cruelty and sacrifice. We’re each of us our own chiaroscuro, our own bit of illusion fighting to emerge into something solid, something real. We’ve got to forgive ourselves that. I must remember to forgive myself. Because there is a lot of grey to work with. No one can live in the light all the time.

Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination, full of hope.

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

Goodbye - Sean Fournier

Well there’s a reason
For my teaching
Even though I can’t explain
More than a dream that you are reaching
More than a laugh that shadows all the pain

A special meaning in the thorn of dreams
In the garden where a thought can blind me
Cause I am lost here, where it never gleams
Where I found that I scream so blindly, yeah

Until I
Rise up
Fall down
Is this the reason that I can’t feel the ground?
Am I waiting
For my tomorrow?
Or should I say goodbye?
Yeah

Well am I walking with a purpose?
Cause I feel the same
And as I wait for my dreams to surface
As I wait, I’m drowning in the rain

Just when I thought that it was over
I lost my grip and I hit the wall
A simple dream that I tripped over
Now I have to wake up to my fall, my fall

Until I
Rise up
Fall down
Is this the reason that I can’t feel the ground?
Am I waiting
For my tomorrow?
Or should I say goodbye?
Yeah

Until I
Rise up
Fall down
Is this the reason that I can’t feel the ground?
Am I waiting
For my tomorrow?
Or should I say goodbye?

Oh no,
Rise up
Fall down
Is this the reason that I can’t feel the ground?
Am I waiting
For my tomorrow?
Or should I say goodbye?

Some of life’s best lessons are learned at the worst times.

The mark of the immature man is that he wants to die nobly for a cause, while the mark of the mature man is that he wants to live humbly for one.

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

Missing someone gets easier every day because even though it’s one day further from the last time you saw each other, it’s one day closer to the next time you will.
